Job summary

Maricopa County Department of Public Health is seeking a Registered Nurse TB Case Manager to oversee care for patients with active TB and latent TB infection. The role includes medication administration, directly observed therapy, and ensuring treatment completion.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years in community/public health or infectious disease settings, an accredited nursing degree, and a valid AZ RN license. Bilingual skills are valued; phlebotomy experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Two years RN experience in a community/public health or infectious disease setting.
• Graduation from an accredited school of Nursing is required.
• Valid, unrestricted Arizona RN license is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day case management of patients treated for active/latent TB including medications and DOT.
• Complete accurate medical record documentation and TB control-related forms.
• Oversee DOT/DOPT and refill activities and educate patients/families to ensure adherence to the care plan.
• Collect labs (blood, sputum, urine) and review results; monitor disease progression and comorbidities.
