The RN will conduct initial patient assessments, develop and adjust care plans, ensure quality patient care, and maintain accurate documentation. The role requires collaboration with the care team, patient education, and adherence to hospital policies. BCLS is required and WV nursing license is essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a school of nursing with WV license.
• BCLS required.
• 1 year nursing experience preferred in area assigned.

Responsibilities

• Performs initial assessment of patient.
• Formulates a plan of care and nursing diagnosis based on the assessment.
• Assists with discharge planning and patient education.
• Keeps Unit Coordinator/Supervisor apprised of quality and risk concerns.
• Ensures safe medication handling and accurate documentation.
• Demonstrates excellence in customer service and teamwork.
