Job summary

Children’s Colorado is seeking a Clinical Nurse II for our Level III NICU in Colorado Springs. This role centers on family‑focused care, inter-professional teamwork, and evidence‑based practice to deliver safe, high‑quality neonatal care.

The CN II will participate in education for patients, families, and staff, use data to monitor outcomes, and contribute to quality improvement and safety initiatives. Relocation assistance is available for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• BSN required.
• RN license in Colorado.
• 1 year nursing experience.
• Minimum 2 years Level III NICU experience strongly preferred.
• May consider ADN with agreement to obtain BSN within 3 years or MEPN pathway.

Responsibilities

• Provide Family-Centered Care and partner with patients and families to deliver coordinated care.
• Collaborate with nursing and inter-professional teams to ensure safe, high-quality care.
• Apply evidence-based practice to care delivery and participate in improving care processes.
• Use data and informatics to monitor outcomes and support clinical decisions.
• Lead and participate in quality improvement activities and ensure patient safety.
