UVA Health Haymarket Medical Center is seeking an RN Clinical Unit Coordinator for the Ortho Surgical Floor on the night shift. This full-time position oversees patient care coordination, flow, staffing, and quality improvement across the unit.

The role emphasizes mentoring staff, participating in rounds, and maintaining regulatory readiness, with a focus on safety and excellent patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Completion of a nursing program approved by the State Board of Nursing.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates direct and indirect patient care hospital-wide.
• Manage patient flow, staffing, and quality improvement.
• Mentor staff, support the Nurse Manager, and participate in rounds/huddles.
• Respond to changes in condition and ensure regulatory readiness.
• Promote a shared governance model and staff development.
