Job summary

Methodist Hospital Landmark is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Surgical Tele role to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in alignment with departmental standards and the hospital’s mission.

You will collaborate with providers and care teams to ensure personalized, comprehensive care, uphold nursing models such as Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage, and advocate for patients, families, and caregivers in a positive clinical environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited diploma, associates, or baccalaureate degree registered nursing program.
• Minimum of six (6) months of clinical experience as a licensed Registered Nurse.
• Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License (RN Compact License holders must obtain Texas RN License within 60 days).
• Current American Heart Association BLS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition at admission and each shift, report changes in status.
• Administer medications, monitor response, document care in medical record.
• Provide prompt, responsive care and address patient requests.
• Educate patients and families about condition, treatment, and follow-up; translate medical terms as needed.
