Job summary

Centerpoint Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for Medical-Surgical Tele to coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with the care team. You will advocate for patients and families while contributing to outcomes and the overall nursing mission.

The role emphasizes evidence-based practice, compassionate care, and participation in hospital councils and national nursing initiatives within a Level II Trauma Center environment.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN with current Missouri license or eligibility.
• One year of RN experience required.
• ACLS, BLS, and TNCC certifications or eligibility as noted must be obtained within specified timelines.

Responsibilities

• Performs procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by the medical provider(s). Documents care in patient records.
• Teaches patients/families/caregivers about condition, status, treatment, medications and follow-up measures.
• Educates on non-medicinal follow-up measures and self-management.
• Collaborates with multidisciplinary team to coordinate, evaluate, and deliver patient treatment plans.
