Progeny HR Solutions LLC in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse Director to lead our Surgical Services department. You will oversee daily operations, staff management, patient care quality, and regulatory compliance, partnering with the CNO and department heads to set strategic direction.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in surgical services, including leadership, and strong knowledge of procedures.

Qualifications

• Nevada RN license required and active
• BSN degree required; Master’s degree preferred
• 5+ years in surgical services with at least 2 in a leadership role
• Knowledge of surgical procedures and techniques
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to manage and motivate a diverse team
• Proven track record of maintaining regulatory compliance
• Budget management and resource allocation
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Collaborates with other healthcare professionals and departments
• Flexible to work evenings and weekends

Responsabilités

• Manage and supervise all staff within the Surgical Services department, including nurses, surgical technicians, and support staff
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care
• Monitor and maintain compliance with all regulatory standards and requirements
• Collaborate with the Chief Nursing Officer and other department heads to develop and implement strategic plans for the department
• Oversee the budget for the Surgical Services department and ensure efficient use of resources
• Work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure a collaborative approach to patient care
• Participate in the recruitment, hiring, and training of new staff members
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback and coaching to staff members
• Stay up-to-date with advancements in surgical techniques and technology, and implement new practices as appropriate
• Act as a liaison between the Surgical Services department and other departments within the organization
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment for all staff members
