Job description

Position Overview: Provides patient care utilizing the nursing process, ensuring professional accountability, evaluating care effectiveness, coordinating with departments, and maintaining patient rights and confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to diverse patient populations in a Med/Surg setting, including surgical and medical overflow patients.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams such as educators, PCA/PCTs, case managers, therapists, and dietitians.
• Support patients undergoing various surgeries and medical conditions, including GI and urinary concerns.
• Assist in building foundational skills for new nurses or providing variety for experienced nurses.
• Maintain adherence to mission, values, and service standards.

Qualifications & Skills

• RN license in the applicable state and graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Basic Life Support certification (American Heart Association).
• Ability to work day or night shifts.
