The Staff Registered Nurse assumes responsibility for managing and delivering patient care utilizing the nursing process. May be required to float to other units and participate in on-call status. This position requires population-specific competencies and adherence to National Patient Safety Goals, as appropriate based on patient contact level.

Qualifications
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Oklahoma or a current multistate license from a Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC) member state.
  • At least 2 years RN experience.
  • Completion of the professional nurse orientation program and assigned unit orientation, including skills checklists.
  • Core competencies demonstrated within 90 days; unit-specific competencies within 12 months.
  • Current BLS certification upon hire or within 30 days.
  • Effective communication in English.
  • Department-specific competencies completed during orientation.
Additional Requirements

Hospice: Must operate an INTEGRIS-owned or personal vehicle with a valid Oklahoma driver’s license and acceptable driving record.

INTEGRIS Mental Health: Preference for operating an INTEGRIS-owned or personal vehicle with a valid Oklahoma driver’s license and acceptable record.

Emergency Department: ACLS certification within 6 months; PALS within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities
  • Assessment and reassessment of patients.
  • Development and implementation of care plans.
  • Supervision and coordination of care by licensed and non-licensed personnel.
  • Mentorship to staff and students.

The RN reports to the appropriate manager, director, or VP. Mental health staff must assist with physical restraints using Behavior Management Techniques. Additional physical or respiratory requirements may apply. Follow safety protocols to minimize risks, including exposure to hazards, chemicals, and workplace violence. May be required to float to other units and be on call.
