Job summary

Scripps Health in San Diego is seeking a Perioperative RN to join the Surgery Department at Scripps Mercy Hospital-San Diego. You will provide direct patient care within the perioperative scope as part of the care team across multiple OR suites.

This full-time, 12-hour day shift (6:30 am–7:00 pm) includes call shifts, with opportunities in trauma, ortho, spine, urology, bariatric, plastics, robotics and general surgery.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care within the scope of perioperative practice and takes primary responsibility for patient care as supervised by the Care Team.
• Works collaboratively with other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care in the Surgery Department.
• Join the busy Surgery Department across multiple OR suites including trauma, ortho, spine, urology, bariatric, plastics, robotics and general.

This is a benefited, full-time 12 hour day shift position with a starting time of 6:30am - 1900 and call shifts. The location is at Scripps Mercy Hospital-San Diego.

Provides direct patient care within the scope of his/her practice. Patient care includes assessment, planning and implementing a plan of care and evaluating patients' progress towards expected outcomes. The RN takes primary responsibility for the patients' care as delivered by the Care Team under his/her supervision. Works collaboratively with other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care.
