Job summary

Qualifications

• Two years of RN experience in a surgical area.
• One year in surgery leadership role.
• Active Florida RN license or CST certification with NBSTSA/NCCT.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate staffing needs and daily coverage to meet patient care requirements.
• Collaborate with surgical control desk, anesthesia, pre-op, and PACU to optimize daily case flow and productivity targets.
• Monitor schedule for equipment or supply needs and communicate with vendors.
• Identify future equipment needs and participate in equipment evaluation and standardization efforts.
• Provide in-services and training on new equipment and procedures to staff.
