Job summary

Village Creek Wellness & Rehabilitation in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for full-time weekend shifts to render basic care and develop care plans in collaboration with physicians, therapists and nursing staff.

The ideal candidate will be a graduate of an approved RN program, licensed in the state, with at least 2 years in a Skilled Nursing Facility and current BLS/CPR certification. We offer a supportive environment and competitive wages with raises and bonuses.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Registered Nurse program and licensed in the state.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility.
• Current BLS/CPR certification as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Ensures proper resident care is maintained in a clean and safe environment.
• Makes nursing diagnoses, which serve as the basis for the strategy of care
• Collaborates with the resident, members of the healthcare team
• Records the administration of medication or any change in patient condition
• Monitors staff to ensure safety regulations are followed and that tasks comply with state and facility procedures
• Follows procedures related to the use of nursing equipment and supplies
• Performs other duties as directed
