Job summary

Tennessee State Veterans' Homes Board in Murfreesboro seeks a Supervisor RN to oversee nursing staff during the 3pm–11pm shift. The role is full-time, non-exempt, with overtime eligibility and holiday pay.

You will ensure delivery of quality patient care, guide the nursing team, and maintain compliance with regulations and protocols while coordinating with colleagues to enhance outcomes.

Qualifications

• RN license active and current.
• Experience as RN in healthcare/nursing home with supervisory responsibilities.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and delegate effectively.
• Knowledge of healthcare regulations and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor nursing staff, assign tasks and evaluate performance.
• Ensure patient care plans are followed and documentation is complete.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and outcomes.
• Monitor inventories of medications and supplies and reorder as needed.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ensure regulatory compliance.
