Cook Children’s Health Care System in Fort Worth is seeking an RN Supervisor, Utilization Management, to lead STAR/ CHIP/ STAR Kids workgroups, coaching UM/ECM RNs and support staff to meet department goals and ensure efficient benefits and LTSS processes.
This role focuses on motivating the team, training on UM workflows, and delivering constructive feedback while maintaining strong communication, organization, and timely decision-making in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Responsible for supervising, coaching, mentoring STAR/ CHIP/ or STAR Kids workgroups (Pods) comprised of UM/ECM RN and support staff to achieve department goals and objectives. Acts as process owner and subject matter expert for program benefits and long‑term supports and services (LTSS).
The RN Supervisor, Utilization Management, will offer motivation, encouragement, and resources to team members. Assists individual team members to set and accomplish goals, trains and certifies team members on all applicable processes and essential skills related to Utilization Management, assesses individual member’s existing abilities and provides customized skills training to ensure each member can properly perform job functions, and provides positive and constructive feedback to direct the team toward goals.
Mon-Fri 8 am‑5 pm
