Vierra Falls Church, a Vierra Communities property, is seeking Registered Nurses to join our dynamic team! We offer RN positions with multiple shift options (7am - 3:30pm, 3pm - 11:30pm and 11pm - 7:30am) in a non-exempt, supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Directs the daily activities of nursing staff per regulations.
• Follows nursing model to promote holistic care for residents.
• Current unrestricted RN license in practicing state.
• Current CPR certification.
• Must Pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Directs daily activities of licensed practical/vocational nurses and CNAs.
• Transcribes physician orders and carries out orders as written.
• Prepares and administers medications and observes adverse effects.
• Performs wound care, IV administration and related tasks as ordered.
• Schedules follow up appointments and coordinates transportation as needed.
• Provides nursing leadership and collaborates with the interdisciplinary team.
• Participates in management meetings and required program activities.
• Monitors infection control practices and assists in corrective actions.
