Job summary

Northwoods Rehabilitation & Nursing Center in New York is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to provide clinical leadership and support our nursing team.

This PRN weekend role offers flexible hours to supplement full-time income while overseeing nursing staff, responding to resident needs, and ensuring quality care in a skilled nursing setting.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• Skilled nursing or long-term care experience preferred.
• Previous charge, supervisory, or leadership experience preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills.
• Dependable and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical oversight and support to nursing staff.
• Guide RN, LPN, and CNA team members during the shift.
• Respond to resident needs and changes in condition.
• Provide nursing care as needed.
