Job summary

Eastern Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide direct nursing care to residents, supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local standards. The role supports quality care and requires active RN licensure and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• RN license active in the state where employed.
• 1–3 years related nursing experience; supervisory experience preferred.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Strong English communication, both verbal and written.
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents, including assessments and treatments.
• Administer medications and monitor residents; report changes to physicians.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
• Supervise LPNs and CNAs as needed.
• Ensure infection control and regulatory compliance.
• Document care in medical records and communicate with the care team.
• Respond to medical emergencies and provide appropriate interventions.
