Job summary

State of Georgia is seeking a Registered Nurse Supervisor for GRHS in Savannah. You will plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for a unit, supervise staff, and coordinate with the health care team to ensure high-quality client care.

Licensed Georgia RN with 3+ years of supervisory experience is required; BSN is preferred but not essential if experience is extensive. This role offers a generous benefits package and a collaborative work environment within the Department of Behavioral Health

Qualifications

• Licensed by the State of Georgia to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse and three years’ experience supervising direct care staff.
• BSN preferred but not required for extensive experience.

Responsibilities

• Plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care for a unit or shift.
• Oversees the provision and quality of nursing care and maintains medical records.
• Advises clients on health maintenance and disease prevention; provides case management.
• Supervises and plans work of assigned staff.
• Administers prescribed medications or starts IV fluids and notes times and amounts on charts.
• Coordinates with health care team to assess, plan, implement and evaluate client care plans.
