Job summary

Cherokee Indian Hospital Authority seeks a Regular Full Time Management RN to support the Director of Nursing in assessing resident care needs and implementing actions. You will supervise nursing staff, ensure quality care, and participate in interdisciplinary team activities within a CIHA facility in Cherokee, NC.

Responsibilities include daily rounds, care planning alignment with physician orders, infection control, and participation in quality assurance activities.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited School of Nursing required.
• Active NC RN license required; multi-state license acceptable per compact.
• One year of general RN experience required.
• One year of RN supervisory experience required.
• Current Basic Life Support preferred; can be attained within 6 months.
• Valid North Carolina driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Directs, evaluates and supervises resident care and initiates corrective action.
• Makes daily rounds and reports status to Administrator and DON.
• Supervises nursing rehabilitation and restorative program.
• Participates in Quality Indicator review and corrective actions.
• Assists with incident/accident investigations and follow-up actions.
• Supervises infection control program and oversees compliance.
