Job summary

UCLA Health in Toluca Lake is seeking an RN Supervisor to oversee clinical operations and coordinate administrative duties for the Primary, Immediate, and Multi-Specialty Care clinic. This role blends direct patient care with staff leadership and program management.

Qualifications

• Current California RN License.
• BSN or MSN.
• 3 years of recent ambulatory RN experience, preferably in urgent care or emergency department.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily clinical operations and workflow coordination for the Toluca Lake clinic.
• Provide triage support and direct patient care as needed.
• Supervise, coach, and mentor clinical staff; conduct training and evaluations.
• Support recruitment including interviewing and onboarding new clinicians.
• Assist with procedures, medication verification for MA staff, and patient rooming.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and safety protocols.
• Monitor efficiency to reduce overtime and improve patient and staff satisfaction.

RN Supervisor - Primary & Immediate Care, Toluca Lake

As RN Supervisor, you will be responsible for assisting with clinical management and administrative coordination for the Toluca Lake Primary, Immediate and Multi-Specialty Care clinic. The position is a combination of clinical (direct patient care) and administrative nursing responsibilities.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Oversee daily clinical operations including supply management and workflow coordination to ensure efficient clinic performance.
• Provide triage support and direct patient care as needed to maintain safe and timely service delivery.
• Supervise, coach, and mentor clinical staff; conduct training, competency assessments, and performance evaluations.
• Support recruitment efforts including interviewing, onboarding, and developing new clinical team members.
• Work alongside providers and clinical staff on the floor, assisting with procedures, medication verification for MA staff, rooming patients, and conducting nurse visits.
• Ensure clinical workflows, processes, and equipment remain compliant, safe, and aligned with regulatory and organizational standards in collaboration with Ambulatory Nursing leadership.
• Monitor operational efficiency to reduce overtime, decrease patient wait times, and improve overall patient, staff, and provider satisfaction.

Salary Range $ 132,300.00 - $307,100.00/annually

Qualifications Required:

• Current California RN License
• BSN or MSN
• 3 years of recent RN ambulatory experience, preferably in an urgent care or emergency department setting (staff nurse/charge nurse/manager)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association or American Red Cross

Preferred:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) from American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) from American Heart Association or American Red Cross
