Job summary

St. Vincent's Medical Center in Bridgeport, CT is seeking a Patient Care Administrative Nurse Supervisor. This RN will supervise and monitor the Nursing department(s) on an assigned shift, ensuring care delivery aligns with nursing standards and regulatory requirements.

The role drives continuous quality improvement, facilitates patient flow across the organization, and provides leadership in the absence of the unit manager or director. BSN required; CT RN license and BLS certification essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing is required.
• 3 years of acute Psychiatric/Behavioral Health Nursing or Supervisory/Leadership experience.
• Active Registered Nurse license from the State of Connecticut.
• Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor the Nursing department on an assigned shift.
• Ensure delivery of direct and indirect patient care per Nursing Process.
• Foster continuous quality improvement to enhance patient care outcomes and patient flow.
