Job summary

Bluffton Regional Medical Center seeks a Supervisor, House - RN to provide after-hours leadership, oversee staffing and patient flow, and ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality care.

The role acts as the administrative point of contact during evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays, coordinating emergencies and ensuring regulatory compliance while supporting both clinical and non-clinical staff.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher preferred.
• 1-2 years of related leadership experience required.
• RN license in Indiana or compact state preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees hospital operations during assigned shifts, ensuring appropriate staffing levels.
• Monitors census, admissions, discharges, and transfers, ensuring bed utilization.
• Acts as administrative point of contact for staff and families during non-business hours.
• Responds to emergencies and coordinates resources to ensure safety and quality care.
• Serves as incident commander in disaster situations until relieved by a senior leader.
