Job summary

Novant Health Brunswick Medical Center in Bolivia, NC, is hiring a House Supervisor for a part-time night schedule (12 hours per week). You will act as the in-house administrative representative for patients, staff, staff physicians and visitors, coordinating admissions, transfers and discharges to maintain optimal flow.

The ideal candidate will have a BSN/BA/BS degree, 5+ years nursing experience with leadership experience, and active RN licensure.

Qualifications

• BSN/BA/BS required; 4-year degree in nursing.
• Minimum 5 years nursing experience; management experience preferred.
• Current RN licensure in the appropriate state; required.
• Knowledge, skills and ability to modify care and interpret information for patient needs; strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
• Critical care or ED experience preferred at Clemmons/Kernersville centers.

Responsibilities

• Act as the in-house administrative representative for patients, staff, staff physicians and visitors; allocate nurses and staff by acuity and unit needs.
• Manage shift scheduling, call-outs and replacement coverage.
• Coordinate patient admissions, transfers and discharges to maintain optimal flow.
• Reallocate bed space and equipment as demands shift.
