Sora Resource Group is seeking an Overnight RN Supervisor for Connecticut facilities. The role provides clinical leadership during the 11:00 PM–7:00 AM shift, ensuring resident safety, guiding night staff, and maintaining care continuity.

You will handle urgent changes, document thoroughly in EMR, and coordinate with morning leadership. Required are an active CT RN license and 2–3 years of SNF/LTC experience, with prior overnight supervision preferred.

Qualifications

• RN license in CT required; 2–3 years clinical nursing in SNF/LTC/sub-acute setting preferred
• Overnight supervisor/leadership experience preferred
• Proficient with EMR for documentation and incident reporting

Responsibilities

• Provide overnight clinical supervision across all units (11:00 PM–7:00 AM)
• Serve as triage and emergency response resource for night shift staff
• Conduct regular rounds to monitor nocturnal care, infection control and safety
• Coordinate admissions, transfers, and change-of-shift handoffs
• Lead and support overnight RNs, LPNs, and CNAs

Schedule: Overnight Shift | 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM

An established, mission-driven healthcare and senior living provider in Connecticut is seeking a dependable, clinically proficient Overnight RN Supervisor (Free-Floating) to oversee overnight clinical and facility operations.

Specializing in the 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM shift, this free-floating leadership role provides active clinical oversight, triage support, and administrative supervision across the facility's nursing units. Working with autonomous clinical judgment during overnight hours, you will ensure resident safety, support night shift nursing staff, handle urgent clinical changes, and maintain seamless continuity of care through the morning change-of-shift.

Key Responsibilities:

• Overnight Clinical Supervision: Function as the free-floating clinical supervisor across all units during the 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM shift, maintaining high standards of care and resident safety
• Triage & Emergency Response: Act as the primary clinical resource for night shift staff; make decisive clinical evaluations during resident status changes, acute incidents, or operational emergencies
• Unit Support & Rounds: Conduct regular facility rounds to monitor nocturnal care delivery, infection control, medication administration, and safety compliance
• Admissions & Change-of-Shift Coordination: Manage late-night or early-morning admissions, transfers, and clinical documentation; conduct morning shift report handoffs to oncoming day leadership
• Staff Leadership & Support: Guide, support, and direct overnight RNs, LPNs, and CNAs, fostering a supportive, accountability-focused night shift environment
• Regulatory Compliance & Documentation: Ensure thorough, timely Electronic Medical Record (EMR) documentation in compliance with Connecticut Department of Public Health (DPH) and CMS regulations

Qualifications:

• Licensure: Current, active, and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Connecticut
• Clinical Experience: Minimum of 2 to 3 years of clinical nursing experience in a skilled nursing facility (SNF), long-term care (LTC), or sub-acute rehabilitation setting
• Leadership Capability: Prior experience as an overnight supervisor, charge nurse, unit manager, or desk nurse preferred
• Clinical Autonomy: Strong critical thinking and independent decision-making skills required for night-shift operational management
• EMR Proficiency: Experience using Electronic Medical Record systems (e.g., PointClickCare) for clinical documentation and incident reporting
