Job summary

Mercy South in St. Louis, MO is seeking a Weekend Supervisor for Orthopedics. The role supports planning, coordination, implementation and evaluation of operations and patient care in designated areas, serving as a clinical resource for staff and patients.

Full-time days, 36 hours per week, 7a-7p Fri/Sat/Sun. Requires graduation from an accredited nursing program and an active RN license in Missouri, with 2–3 years of patient care experience; BSN and supervisory experience preferred; CRRN

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Nursing program.
• Must have a current RN license in the state of practice.
• Two to three years' experience in patient care.
• Preferred Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
• Preferred Supervisory or management experience.
• Preferred Certification: CRRN.
• Preferred rehabilitation experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, coordination, implementation and evaluation of operations and patient care in designated areas.
• Serve as a clinical resource for staff and patients in the department.
• Perform duties as a staff nurse in the department as needed.
• Assume managerial duties delegated by a manager.
• Weekend Supervisor duties for Orthopedics: monitor unit operations Fri/Sat/Sun 7a–7p.

• Preferred Other: Rehabilitation experience.
