Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital is seeking an RN Supervisor to join the OR leadership team. This full-time role (40 hours) features a rotating schedule and a focus on coordinating daily nursing activities and ensuring high standards of patient care in a busy OR.

The Supervisor will assist with training, mentoring, and performance evaluations, coordinating staffing decisions, and ensuring compliance with hospital policies.

Qualifications

• BSN required.
• Virginia or compact multistate RN license in good standing.
• Minimum of 2 years nursing experience in the OR required.
• 1 year leadership experience in the OR required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the nursing leadership team in the OR.
• Coordinate daily nursing activities and ensure high standards of care.
• Mentor and evaluate clinical staff and support training.
• Oversee patient care assignments and resolve patient/family concerns.
• Assist staffing decisions and maintain inventory of medical supplies to keep units ready.
