The RN possesses clinical knowledge and skills to meet standards as required by specific clinical areas.All Direct Care RN's required to have BLS within 90 days of hire.5K DEPARTMENT OVERVIEWThis 42-bed unit specializes in the care of Adult Surgical Patients. Registered Nurses are assigned to PODs to assist patients recovering from surgeries: Urology, General Surgery, ENT, Plastic Surgery, GYN Surgery, Surgical Oncology, and Trauma Overflow. While working in this unit you will care for patients that have renal disease, diabetes, COPD, and heart failure for a well-rounded nursing experience. This is a telemetry-monitored unit. The average patient stay is 3-4 days.
