As a part of the Telecare Family, La Paz is a 148-bed Gero-Psychiatric center serving adults aged 55 and older.

Shifts Available:

• AM 7:00 - 3:30 pm / PM 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm / NOC 11:00 pm - 7:30 am
• On Call; Shift hours and days vary as needed

Wage and Differential Information:

Expected starting wage range is $49.74 - $61.45 per hour. We pay differentials! Weekend shift differentials for hourly staff include 5% for Weekend AM, 11% for Weekend PM, and 15% for Weekend Overnight shifts. Additionally, Telecare applies geographic differentials to pay ranges based on the location of the role. Starting pay is commensurate with relevant experience above minimum requirements.

Shift differentials for hourly staff are 6% for PM shift and 10% for Overnight shift. Weekend shift differentials are as mentioned above.

Position Summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor provides recovery-focused services related to the safe and appropriate administration of medical treatments, including medications, as prescribed by the physician. The RN Supervisor ensures safe, effective, and efficient implementation of direct care according to established policies, procedures, and standards of care.

Essential Functions

• Demonstrates Telecare's mission, purpose, values, and beliefs in everyday interactions.
• Organizes, prioritizes, and delegates work on the assigned shift.
• Supervises designated staff, provides orientation and training, and handles recruitment, selection, and disciplinary actions.
• Oversees nursing care, completes assessments, and assists with admissions and discharges.
• Establishes therapeutic relationships with members and participates in community and treatment planning meetings.
• Coordinates admissions, medication counts, and reporting at shifts' start and end.
• Maintains documentation, demonstrates crisis management knowledge, and transcribes physician orders accurately.
• Administers medications and treatments, and reports changes in members' behavior or condition.
• Develops nursing care plans, assists with crisis prevention, and passes crisis prevention training.

Qualifications

Required:

• RN licensure in the state of employment.
• Valid CPR/BLS certification.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• CPR, CPI, and First Aid certification on or within 60 days of employment, maintained throughout employment.

Preferred:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Two years of RN experience.
• One year of supervisory experience.

Physical Demands
