New Haven Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation, part of Essential Care, is seeking a qualified RN Supervisor for a full-time night shift (11pm–7am, Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend on-call). • Must have current CT RN license.
• Must have supervisory experience.
• Must have excellent leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee unit on shift and ensure top quality resident care and customer service.
• Assist with treatment and medication administration.
• Assist with Admissions and orientation of new residents.
• Attend and participate in weekly nursing meetings.
• Conduct daily audits of new admission charts.
• Serve as liaison between family, patient, doctor and departments.
• Investigate incident reports and follow-up actions.
• Manage staff assignments to ensure quality of care.
• Report on patient conditions in weekly risk meetings.
• Participate in annual staff evaluations.
