Job summary

HonorHealth’s Thompson Peak Medical Center in Scottsdale, AZ is seeking a qualified RN for a full‑time night shift in the Medical/Surgical Unit‑M2‑Neuro Care. A BSN is required, with at least 2 years as an RN in Med/Surg or an acute specialty, ACLS and stroke specialty preferred.

The RN will supervise and coordinate care, participate in staff development, and collaborate with physicians to implement the medical plan of care.

Qualifications

• BSN required.
• 2 years as RN in Med/Surg or Acute Specialty setting required.
• ACLS and Stroke specialty preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises, assesses, plans, coordinates, facilitates, and evaluates patient care and staff development.
• Assists Clinical Director in management of the unit staff and patient population.
• Provides direct patient care according to needs of the unit/program and collaborates with physicians in executing the medical plan of care.
• Ensures compliance with policies and financial stewardship; maintains department budget.
• Directs staff in applying the nursing process and coordinates patient care.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
