Job summary

University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center is seeking an RN Supervisor for the Multidisciplinary Pain Clinic in Dallas. This role provides daily direction to clinical staff, organizes and evaluates patient care activities, and ensures effective nursing operations within the specialty area.

The position requires ADN, 3 years of nursing experience, and Texas RN licensure ( CPR upon hire). Preferred candidates may hold a BSN and have supervisory experience, to support patient care standards

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved nursing program with an ADN.
• 3 years of general nursing experience.
• RN licensure in Texas. Upon Hire CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Oversees and/or teaches specialized nursing knowledge and skills in the clinic area.
• Provides operational management of daily patient care services to ensure satisfaction and quality.
• Leads performance improvement activities and staff development.
• Ensures compliance with nursing standards of care and internal policies.
• Acts as preceptor and resource for department processes.
• May provide direct patient care as needed.
