Job summary

Lakes Regional Healthcare in Spirit Lake, IA, seeks an Inpatient Nursing Supervisor to guide care across Medical Surgical and Critical Care units, ensuring safe, efficient, and patient‑centered delivery.

Under the Director of Inpatient Services, you’ll develop competencies, monitor quality, educate staff, and serve as a key clinical resource for nursing teams, helping elevate patient outcomes and staff satisfaction in a busy rural hospital.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in nursing.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing within 5 years of hire preferred.
• Two years of hospital nursing experience required.
• Two years of supervisory nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee patient care in Medical Surgical and Critical Care units.
• Ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective service and satisfaction.
• Develop and implement nursing competencies and quality monitoring.
• Provide ongoing education and act as a clinical resource for staff.
