Job summary

Lakes Regional Healthcare is seeking an Inpatient Nursing Supervisor to lead the Medical Surgical and Critical Care units, ensuring safe, efficient and patient-centered care. The role supports leadership in competency development, quality monitoring, and staff education, acting as a primary resource for clinical expertise.

Required are an RN license, an associate degree or higher, and 2+ years’ hospital nursing experience with supervisory exposure; BSN preferred within 5 years.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in nursing.
• BSN preferred within 5 years of hire.
• Two years of hospital nursing experience required.
• Two years of supervisory nursing experience preferred.
• Current Iowa RN license.
• Current ACLS, BLS, PALS, and Mandatory Reporter certifications (or obtain per policy).

Responsibilities

• Oversees patient care in Medical Surgical and Critical Care units.
• Ensures safe, efficient, and cost-effective care.
• Develops competencies and quality monitoring.
• Acts as resource for clinical skills and staff education.

Education

Associate degree in nursing
