Job summary

Autumnwood of Deckerville in Deckerville, MI is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to lead resident care on assigned shifts, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local standards while coordinating with the care team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years of nursing experience in long-term or sub-acute care preferred.
• Current state RN license.
• CPR certification or CPR certification within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Supervises LPNs, Medication Aides, CNAs/STNAs and other staff providing direct care
• Plans, assigns, and directs work in alignment with resident needs and staff capabilities
• Prepares work assignments, adjusting for staffing levels and resident safety
• Receives staffing-related calls and arranges replacements as needed
• Completes performance evaluations and provides input on hiring, disciplining, or terminating staff
• Adjusts break schedules and resolves staff concerns
• Oversee unit operations during absence of higher-level management
• Use independent judgment in accordance with company policies and applicable laws
