Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have graduated from an accredited RN program.

• Six months experience in a long-term care environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides the highest quality of patient care to facility residents/patients.
• Documents care and observations in the clinical record.
• Communicates with resident’s physician.
• Completes nursing documentation (assessments, orders, progress notes, flowsheets, consents).
• Administers medications as ordered and documents administration.
• Maintains narcotic records accurately and completes physician orders review as assigned.
• Assists with emergency measures and administers CPR as needed.
• Maintains punctuality and regular attendance for shifts.
