Job summary

Coral Reef Subacute Care Center in Miami, FL is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a full-time or part-time staff member. Qualifications

• Must hold a current Florida RN license.
• 2 years of supervisor experience in hospital, long-term care, or similar health care facility preferred.
• Completion of post-secondary education and ability to read, write, and follow written and oral directions.
• Must maintain regular attendance and flexibility for evening/night/weekend schedules.
• Related experience at a level necessary to accomplish this position.

Responsibilities

• Perform administrative duties such as completing medical forms, reports, evaluations, studies, charting, etc.
• Day to Day Supervision of Licensed and Non-Licensed staff, including counseling/disciplinary action, evaluations, one-to-one in service, suspension/terminations
• Maintain an ongoing quality assurance program for the nursing unit
• Develop methods for coordination of nursing services with other resident services to ensure continuity of care
• Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when warranted
• Must deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies, and the public
• Must be knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws/regulations/guidelines pertaining to long-term care
• Must possess leadership and supervisory ability and the willingness to work harmoniously with and supervise other personnel
