Job summary
The Hamlet Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center at Nesconset is seeking an RN Supervisor to oversee nursing staff and ensure high-quality resident care. Responsibilities include coordinating MDS schedules, developing care plans, supervising LPNs and CNAs, and maintaining standards of practice.
Qualified candidates will be a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing, hold an NY license, and demonstrate strong leadership and clinical skills.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- MS/BS or equivalent experience preferred.
- License to practice in New York.
- Nursing experience with clinical competence and leadership.
Responsibilities
- Assists in defining, maintaining and interpreting standards of practice.
- Performs required skills according to guidelines and procedures.
- Participates in interdisciplinary committees influencing nursing practice policies.
- Coordinates/Prepares MDS schedules for assessments.
- Develops and revises care plans based on resident needs.
- Monitors medication administration and incident reporting.
- Directs nursing shifts and ensures staffing coverage.
