Responsibilities

• Assists the Director of Nursing in organizing and directing the day-to-day functions of the licensed and unlicensed nursing staff.
• Admits, discharges and transfers patients as requested.
• Coordinates care planning/MDS process and committee meetings as necessary.
• Maintains effective lines of communication with attending physicians.
• Supervises licensed and unlicensed nursing personnel as needed.
