Job Summary and Qualifications

The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) ensures high-quality, patient-centered care and coordinates all functions during the shift. Collaborating with management, the CNC directs, monitors, and evaluates nursing care, serves as a resource, and models organizational values to support excellent patient experiences and outcomes.

What you will do in this role:
  • Assist with admission and discharge processes for efficient patient throughput.
  • Participate in assessing the quality of patient care services.
  • Collaborate to create a teamwork environment supporting improved outcomes.
  • Support a patient-first philosophy and service recovery.
  • Operationalize nursing strategies to improve engagement, including rounding initiatives.
  • Provide recommendations for hiring, training, conflict resolution, and performance evaluations.
  • Assist with staff scheduling and manage labor costs.
  • Support inventory control and supply management.
Qualifications needed:
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification.
  • Must hold a TX RN license or a compact license.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
  • At least 2 years of acute hospital experience.
  • At least 1 year of RN leadership experience.
