Job summary

IEP Corp in New Jersey is seeking a hands-on Working RN Supervisor to join our leadership team. The role blends direct resident care with oversight of nursing staff, ensuring safe, high-quality clinical operations during your shift.

As a bedside leader, you will supervise RNs, LPNs, and CNAs, participate in medication administration, coordinate admissions and transfers, and mentor the nursing team while maintaining regulatory compliance and a positive work environment.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing.
• Previous supervisory or charge nurse experience preferred.
• Long-term care experience strongly preferred.
• Strong clinical and assessment skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support nursing staff (RNs, LPNs, CNAs) during assigned shift.
• Provide direct resident care, including medication administration and treatments.
• Respond to clinical concerns, changes in condition, and emergencies.
• Ensure proper documentation and compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Complete clinical assessments and follow up on physician orders.
• Serve as a resource and mentor to nursing team members.
• Coordinate admissions, discharges, and transfers as needed.
• Maintain communication with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary team.
• Promote a positive, team‑oriented work environment.
