Job summary

Rockaway Care Center in New York is seeking an RN Nurse Supervisor to lead resident care and coordinate nursing services. The role requires strong clinical judgment, supervisory skills, and a patient-centered approach to quality care.

You will oversee assessments, care plans, medication administration, and collaboration with physicians, families, and staff to ensure compliance with policies and regulations.

Qualifications

• RN license required.
• Compassionate, patient-focused, and committed to providing high-quality care.

Responsibilities

• Perform required skills (assessment, intervention) according to guidelines, forms, policies and procedures
• Develop care plan that demonstrates knowledge of criteria to ascertain residents specific needs based on health care problem(s)
• Carry out care plan that demonstrates familiarity with criteria to establish resident priorities specific to anticipated outcomes
• Implement physicians’ orders; administer medications, start IVs, perform treatments, procedures and special tests and document treatment as required by company policy and local/state/federal rules and regulations
• Complete new admissions and assessments.
• Interact with families, doctors and other professionals
