WeCare Centers is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse Supervisor to join the Heritage Center team in Pittsburgh, PA. This role emphasizes weekend Baylor duties with supervisory responsibilities and ensuring high‑quality resident care.

The ideal candidate holds a PA RN license, has leadership experience in acute or long‑term care, and is committed to teamwork, compliance, and staff development. Weekend shifts are required.

Qualifications

• Valid PA RN license required.
• Experience in acute care or long-term care settings preferred.
• Weekend Baylor RN availability with supervisory responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a professional role model by providing leadership, support and guidance.
• Maintaining nursing staff performance through interventions in collaboration with DON, HR or Facility Administrator.
• Ensure safe, healthy environment and proper techniques by nursing staff.
• Ensure proper documentation is completed by nursing staff.
• Communicate effectively with Residents, families, vendors and interdisciplinary teams to provide high quality care.
• Participate in compliance and quality improvement committees, audits and processes.
• Complete nursing staff evaluations, coaching, education and supervision.
• Monitor direct care and conduct audits to ensure high quality nursing care.
• Assume on-call duties with other Nursing Leadership staff.
• Additional duties as assigned by the Director of Nursing.

Job Duties

THIS IS A 3P-11P SHIFT

• Serve as a professional role model by providing leadership, support and guidance.
• Maintaining nursing staff job performance through multiple intervention practices in close collaboration with Director of Nursing (DON), Human Resources or Facility Administrator, as needed. Ensure FBH policies are being followed.
• Ensuring nursing staff are providing a safe, healthy environment and utilizing proper techniques and approaches.
• Ensuring proper documentation is being completed by nursing staff.
• Effectively communicating with Residents, families, vendors and interdisciplinary team to provide a high quality of care.
• Participating in compliance and quality improvement committees, audits and processes.
• Completing nursing staff evaluations, coaching, education, and supervision.
• Ensures continued delivery of high quality nursing care by monitoring direct care and conducting audits.
• Assume on-call duties with other Nursing Leadership Staff.
• Additional duties as assigned by the Director of Nursing.

Qualifications

• Valid RN license in the State of PA
• Previous experience as a RN in acute care / long term care setting is preferred
