Job summary

Qualifications

• Nursing degree from an accredited college or university.
• Current CPR Certification.
• Must meet state licensure requirements and have no disciplinary action against license.

Responsibilities

• Plans, develops, organizes, implements, and directs nursing services for residents on the floor assigned.
• Ensures compliance with federal, state and local regulations and facility policies.
• Reviews complaints and grievances and reports to the Director of Nursing as required.
• Maintains adequate stock of medications and supplies and notifies staff of needs.
• Assists in developing assessments of residents' nursing needs.
• Makes nursing/aide assignments as indicated.
• Encourages staff to attend external training programs.
