Job summary

Lockport Rehab and Healthcare Center is seeking a full-time RN Supervisor for night shift. The role supports the Nursing Department under the DON/ADON, ensuring compliance, staffing, and high-quality patient care. Licensed NY RN with at least 1 year in a skilled nursing facility is required.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in NY.
• Minimum 1 year experience in a skilled nursing facility or nursing home.

Responsibilities

• Assist the DON and ADON in evaluating and directing day-to-day functions of the Nursing Department.
• Ensure nursing staff follow their job descriptions.
• Participate in facility surveys and inspections as requested by DON/ADON.
• Make daily rounds to ensure nursing staff perform to acceptable standards.

Responsibilities of RN Supervisor:

• Assist the DON and ADON in evaluating, and directing day-to-day functions of the Nursing Department in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines that govern the Facility.
• Ensure that all nursing services personnel are following their respective job descriptions.
• Participate in Facility surveys (inspections) made by authorized government agencies as requested by the DON and ADON.
• Make daily rounds of the Nursing Services Department to ensure that all nursing service personnel are p performing their work assignments in accordance withacceptable nursing standards.

Requirements for RN Supervisors:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in NY
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a skilled nursing facility or nursing home
