Job summary

Pine Valley Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing is seeking a caring RN Supervisor to join our growing team on the night shift. The role runs 11pm-7am, with shift differentials available. We value top-quality patient care and a safe, supportive environment for residents in a long-term care setting.

The RN Supervisor will oversee nursing services, ensure regulatory compliance, manage staffing, and address resident and family inquiries with professionalism. Walk-ins welcome for interviews.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of clinical nursing experience in long-term care (preferred).
• Licensed in NYS as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Compassion and desire to work with geriatric population.

Responsibilities

• Ensures the highest quality patient care is maintained.
• Maintains a safe and effective resident care environment at all times.
• Assists in planning, organizing, directing, supervising and evaluating all nursing services to achieve clinical outcomes.
• Assists in ensuring facility compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Ensures necessary equipment, supplies, and staffing for resident care.
• Completes hourly rounds to ensure policy and regulation compliance.
• Receives and handles family and resident complaints.
• Assists in maintaining customer service standards for the nursing department.

Responsibilities:

• Ensures that the highest degree of quality patient care is maintained.
• Ensures that a safe and effective resident care environment is maintained at all times.
• Assists in planning, organizing, directing, supervising and evaluating all nursing services provided in the facility to achieve desired clinical outcomes.
• Assist in ensuring that facility is in compliance with all regulatory requirements.
• Assists in ensuring necessary equipment, supplies, and staffing are available for the delivery of the prescribed resident/patient care.
• Completes hourly rounds of the facility to ensure compliance with all policies, procedures and regulations.
• Receives and handles family and resident complaints.
• Assists in ensuring customer service standards for the nursing department.
