Job summary

Schervier Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in the Bronx is seeking a compassionate RN Supervisor to join our team for the evening shifts. This 364-bed facility emphasizes a caring, energetic culture and supportive leadership.

The RN Supervisor will lead nursing staff, ensure continuity of care, and coordinate with other departments to deliver high quality resident care. Requirements include a valid NY RN license and prior RN experience in a nursing home setting.

Qualifications

• Prior RN experience in a nursing home setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and direct nursing staff across shifts on assigned units.
• Ongoing evaluation of staff performance to achieve high-quality resident care.
• Ensure continuity of care by supervising CNAs, LPNs, and support staff across shift transitions.
• Collaborate with other departments and medical providers to assure quality care for each resident.

Pay rate: $48-$56 per hour, BOE

Availability: Full-time and Part-time

Shifts:night Shift (Prefer 12pm-8am,

Job Functions:

• Planning, coordinating, and directing of nursing staff on all shifts on the assigned units
• Ongoing general evaluation of staff performance and activities, in order to achieve optional resident/patient care.
• Ensuring continuity of care of the residents between shifts by providing direct care as well as supervising the care given by CNAs, LPNs and supportive staff members.
• Interacting with all levels of nursing personnel, other department personnel, and medical providers to assure quality care is provided to each resident/patient.

Requirements:

• Registered Nurse license and certification, valid in NY
• Prior nursing home RN experience
