Job summary

Markley Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Norristown, PA is hiring an RN Supervisor for a full-time 7 am–7 pm weekend schedule. You will lead nursing operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and support a dedicated team in delivering safe, high-quality resident care.

As a key clinical leader, you will coordinate care, monitor resident conditions, collaborate with physicians and families, and promote a positive, compliant work environment with strong communication and accountability.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, unencumbered active RN license in the state of Pennsylvania.
• Valid BLS Certification (CPR) required.
• Minimum of 2+ years of nursing experience in a healthcare setting.
• No previous supervisory experience required; training will be provided.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with staff, residents, families, and regulators.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate nursing care activities to ensure residents receive safe, effective, and timely care.
• Provide clinical oversight and support to nursing staff during assigned shifts.
• Monitor resident conditions and ensure appropriate interventions are implemented and documented.
• Ensure compliance with physician orders, care plans, and facility policies and procedures.
• Communicate effectively with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, residents, and family members regarding changes in condition or care needs.
• Assist in managing multiple residents and prioritize care based on clinical urgency.
• Support adherence to all applicable nursing regulations, safety standards, and facility guidelines.
• Promote a positive work environment through teamwork, communication, and professional leadership.

• Strong knowledge of nursing practices, procedures, and applicable laws, regulations, and standards in nursing care centers.
