Job summary

Markley Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking an RN Supervisor to lead daily nursing operations on a full-time basis from 7 am to 7 pm, including weekends. You will ensure regulatory compliance and provide clinical oversight to nursing staff, promoting safe, high-quality resident care.

The role requires a PA RN license, BLS (CPR) certification, and at least two years of nursing experience; no prior supervisory experience is required as training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered PA RN license.
• BLS Certification (CPR) required.
• Experience managing care for multiple patients in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate nursing care activities to ensure residents receive safe, effective, and timely care.
• Provide clinical oversight and support to nursing staff during assigned shifts.
• Monitor resident conditions and ensure appropriate interventions are implemented and documented.
• Ensure compliance with physician orders, care plans, and facility policies and procedures.
• Communicate with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, residents, and families regarding changes in condition or care needs.
• Assist in managing multiple residents and prioritize care based on clinical urgency.
• Support adherence to nursing regulations, safety standards, and facility guidelines.
• Promote a positive work environment through teamwork, communication, and leadership.

Qualifications for RN Supervisor:

• Valid BLS Certification (CPR) required.
• Ability to manage care for multiple patients in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Minimum of 2+ years of nursing experience in a healthcare setting required.
• No previous supervisory experience required; training will be provided.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with staff, residents, families, visitors, and regulatory agencies.
• Strong knowledge of nursing practices, procedures, and applicable laws, regulations, and standards in nursing care centers.
