Lancashire Post Acute in Virginia is seeking an RN Supervisor to lead daily nursing operations in a 120-bed setting. This full-time role offers competitive pay, daily pay option, and opportunities to influence resident outcomes through strong clinical leadership.

You will supervise staff, ensure regulatory compliance, and collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to deliver safe, high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current, active RN license in Virginia.
• Valid BLS/CPR certification.
• Experience caring for residents in a healthcare setting.
• Ability to supervise and coordinate care across shifts (training provided).

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate nursing care activities to ensure residents receive safe, effective, and timely care.
• Provide clinical oversight and support to nursing staff during assigned shifts.
• Monitor resident conditions and document appropriate interventions.
• Ensure compliance with physician orders, care plans, and facility policies.
• Communicate with physicians, teams, residents, and families about changes in condition.
• Assist in prioritizing care for multiple residents based on urgency.
• Support adherence to nursing regulations and safety standards.
• Promote teamwork and professional leadership to foster a positive work environment.

Responsibilities for RN Supervisor

• Supervise and coordinate nursing care activities to ensure residents receive safe, effective, and timely care.

• Provide clinical oversight and support to nursing staff during assigned shifts.

• Monitor resident conditions and ensure appropriate interventions are implemented and documented.

• Ensure compliance with physician orders, care plans, and facility policies and procedures.

• Communicate effectively with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, residents, and family members regarding changes in condition or care needs.

• Assist in managing multiple residents and prioritize care based on clinical urgency.

• Support adherence to all applicable nursing regulations, safety standards, and facility guidelines.

• Promote a positive work environment through teamwork, communication, and professional leadership.

Qualifications for RN Supervisor

• Must possess a current, unencumbered active RN license in the state of Virginia

• Valid BLS Certification (CPR) required.

• Ability to manage care for multiple patients in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

• Minimum of 2+ years of nursing experience in a healthcare setting required.

• No previous supervisory experience required; training will be provided.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with staff, residents, families, visitors, and regulatory agencies.

• Strong knowledge of nursing practices, procedures, and applicable laws, regulations, and standards in nursing care centers.
