Cedar Crest Post Acute in Allentown, PA is seeking an RN Supervisor for a full-time, hourly role delivering safe, high-quality resident care under regulatory standards. You will supervise nursing staff, oversee care plans, ensure compliance, and coordinate with physicians and family members while promoting a positive, collaborative work environment.

Valid PA RN license and BLS required; minimum 2+ years of nursing experience; training provided for supervision.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate nursing care activities to ensure safe, effective, and timely care.
• Provide clinical oversight and support to nursing staff during assigned shifts.
• Monitor resident conditions and ensure appropriate interventions are implemented and documented.
• Ensure compliance with physician orders, care plans, and facility policies and procedures.
• Communicate with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, residents, and families regarding changes in condition or care needs.
• Assist in managing multiple residents and prioritize care based on clinical urgency.
• Support adherence to nursing regulations, safety standards, and facility guidelines.
• Promote a positive work environment through teamwork and professional leadership.

Qualifications for RN Supervisor:

• Must possess a current, unencumbered active RN license in the state of Pennsylvania.
• Valid BLS Certification (CPR) required.
• Ability to manage care for multiple patients in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Minimum of 2+ years of nursing experience in a healthcare setting required.
• No previous supervisory experience required; training will be provided.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with staff, residents, families, visitors, and regulatory agencies.
• Strong knowledge of nursing practices, procedures, and applicable laws, regulations, and standards in nursing care centers.
